Land Surveying
GdB specializes in performing boundary surveys, topographic surveys, utility surveys, hydrographic surveys, construction layout and pre-design base mapping on projects of all sizes.
GdB develops and customizes applications to manage spatial data for our clients. We use multiple methods of data collection, including custom software and ArcGIS Online services
Instead of holding a prism at every point we need to measure, LIDAR sensors spray light beams to all objects in its field of view to collect point data at a desired interval (as little as every few millimeters).
Utilizing Electromagnetic Induction and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), GdB incorporates this service into our suite of Land Surveying and Geospatial options, providing cost and time savings to our valued clients.
The photogrammetry staff transform information about the Earth’s surface into spatially accurate vector and raster files that are tailored to our clients needs. Cost effective innovations, high quality graphics and timely solutions are what set Geomaps apart from the competition.
GdB offers a wide variety of services within the construction industry. From conventional construction layout, 3D machine control modeling, to earthwork takeoffs and pavement scanning.
Machine controlled construction has enabled contractors all over the country to build projects faster, more efficiently, safely and with vast savings in fuel and materials cost.
Slipform curb modeling is a process used in construction to create curbs or sidewalks that are uniform in size and shape. The process involves using a machine that extrudes concrete into a mold. The machine (add in machine name) continuously moves forward to create a seamless, continuous curb.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a method used for planning, creating, analyzing, and maintaining a project from the conception to the finished product.
